Inclusion

SS John and Monica Catholic Primary School is committed to providing all our children with an appropriate, high-quality education. We believe that all children, including those identified as having special educational needs and disabilities, have a common entitlement to a broad and balanced academic and social curriculum that is accessible to them and to be fully included in all aspects of school life.

Our school's mission goes beyond academic achievement. We are equally dedicated to fostering each child's personal development. We achieve this by instilling a sense of responsibility, building self-esteem, being sensitive to their needs, and promoting values of fairness and forgiveness.

Our commitment to inclusion is unwavering at SS John and Monica Catholic Primary School. We strive to maintain a loving and caring school community where everyone feels welcome, secure, and valued. With the support of the home, parish, and wider community, our children will grow into fulfilled, educated individuals ready to take the Christian message into the world.

This does not mean that we will treat all learners the same but that we will respond to them in ways that account for their varied life experiences and needs.

We believe educational inclusion is about equal opportunities for all learners, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, impairment, attainment, or background.
